Ten Star Records in an independent label based in Atlanta, GA started in the summer of 2007 by Rick Beato and Johnny Diamond. Our current roster includes Memphis, TN natives Streetside Symphony and Crowfield currently residing in Charleston, SC.

Hello Everyone! Welcome to the new website for Ten Star Records!

I wanted to take a brief moment on behalf Rick Beato and myself to give you some brief insight into what were all about here at Ten Star Records.

This label has been an idea “thrown around the office” for a few years now. Rick and I had worked on a few projects together that we were both EXTREMEMLY passionate about. Due to the ever changing music business and other outside factors beyond our and the majority of the time, the artists control, these projects never saw the true “light of day”.

We both felt like we had some basic idea of what it takes to make it in the music industry and our aim was simple. Great songs performed by talented artists. Whether you’re a manager, booking agent, producer, etc., great songs performed by great talent is where it begins and ends.

With that in mind we set out the early summer of 2006 to find just that. Ten Star Record’s first two artists are the result of our search.

Streetside Symphony is from Memphis, TN. Their new album, The Curse, is being released at the end of February and we are very excited about what was captured in the studio. The entire record was recorded over 13 days and almost every inch of every song on the album is live.

Crowfield, our second act, is originally from Indiana and now reside in Charleston, SC. Their album will follow soon behind that of Streetside’s. This record was recorded similarly, but we invited a few friends to “sit in” and play on the sessions too.
